Dual shaft bag breakers open plastic bags, woven sacks, and other bagged waste before sorting or shredding. The two bag-opening shafts rotate toward each other at different speeds, and their specially shaped blades tear open plastic bags and woven sacks without breaking down most of the material inside. The operating speed can be adjusted for different waste conditions, and the PLC control allows the shafts to reverse when wrapping occurs. This helps release the contents more effectively and keeps the next screening, separation, or crushing stage from being blocked by unopened bags.
