Maintenance guide of lithium battery powered bike
Like all mechanical items, bicycles need to be repaired and here are some tips to keep your bike moving.
- Choose a spacious and flat place, then put out the kickstands of the bicycle.
- Secure the surroundings.
- If you don't have dedicated machine tools and calculation instruments, please go to a service station for maintenance. Please don't disassemble and assemble the bicycle by yourself.
- If malfunctions are found during inspection, please do not use the bicycle. If you have some difficulties in solving the problem, you can ask for help from the service station.
Inspecting contents: check for bending and damage
Inspecting method: clench the brake handle, shake the handlebar up and down to inspect the abnormal noise caused by the bending of the front fork.
Inspecting contents: is the free clearance normal?
Inspecting method: inspect the free clearance is within specified range (10-15 mm). The free clearance should be adjusted if it is not in the range. The brake pads must be changed if the gap is too large (beyond 2/3).
Inspecting contents: are the brakes applying properly?
Inspecting method: ride on the dry and flat pavement slowly, use front and back brake lines respectively, and inspect the brake effectiveness
Inspecting contents: is the pressure of the tire normal?
Inspecting method: inspect the pressure by tire pressure gauge.
Inspecting contents: are the tire textures are clear or not?
Inspecting method: inspect the tire textures to see if they are clear, cracking, worn badly, etc.
Inspecting contents: is the saddle very tight?
Inspecting method: shake the saddle to determine the tightness of the saddle.
Inspecting contents: are the instruments normal?
Inspecting method: press the button for 3-5 seconds to start it and look whether the red indicator light is normal or not.
Inspecting contents: are the pedals tight?
Inspecting method: inspect the pedal tightness with your hands.
