Furring Channel Ceiling System(Slot Type)
Slot type furring channel ceiling system is an improved product based on furring ceiling system. Its main carrier adopts slotted channels instead of common U-shaped channels.
Slots are designed on both sides so that slotted channels can be directly connected and fixed with furring channels. Holes are designed on top of channels and can lock suspenders by screws. Since there are no additional hangers and preformed wire clips, parts rust and damage are almost prevented, so they are more sturdy and durable. Besides, slot connection provides quite reliable stability so that the ceilings are not easy to deform, so they also have a certain load-bearing ability.
Besides, compared with common ceiling systems, slotted channel ceiling systems can save more space, so they are more suitable for the decoration of rooms which have limited reserved height.

- Fix suspenders and the top of slotted channels by screws
- Directly use slots on both flangers of slotted channels to seize furring channels
- Slotted channel interval 1000-1200mm, furring channel interval 300-400mm, suspender interval 1000mm. Arrange and combine in turn, then slot type ceiling framing will be completed
- Fix gypsum boards on the furring channels by self drilling screw
- Install expansion screws on suspenders, and fix with walls or rubber boards. Then the ceiling system is completed
