This cold rolling line is specialized rebar production line engineered to efficiently produce ribbed steel bar in coils. By utilizing a rebar rolling line, this steel reinforcing bar production line processes hot-rolled wire rods with an inlet range of Ø5.5mm to Ø14mm into coiled reinforcing bar through a continuous, automated sequence of reduction and ribbing, achieving a maximum production speed of 10m/s.

This reinforcing wire rolling process is particularly important for projects where flexibility, ease of transportation and rapid execution are priorities. Unlike straight rebars, the finished steel rebar made by this rebar processing machine ranges from Ø5mm to Ø12mm, which is wound into compact coils, making it ideal feedstock for efficient downstream operations. It is typically used in the manufacturing of welded meshwork, reinforcement grids, stirrups, and various reinforcing steel parts in construction applications.

Process Flow

Wire payoff descaling lubrication cold rolling & rib forming coiling (take-off)

Main Components
    1. Loading Station and Pay-Off Stand

      Two loading stations are provided for alternating use. Each station can be hydraulically turned 90° for easier coil loading and handling and works together with the pay-off stand.

    1. Descaling Unit

      Five rollers bend the material as it passes through, helping remove rust and surface scale. Roller positions can be adjusted by motor.

    1. Rolling cassettes (2 units)

      Each rolling cassette is fitted with six rollers. The first cassette is used for diameter reduction, while the second handles ribbing. Both work together with two drive capstans during processing.

    1. Residual Stress Relieving Unit

      Used to reduce the internal stress generated in the rebar during processing.

    1. Spooler

      A 2-ton spooler is used for finished rebar take-up.
