    1. Maximum Outer Diameter up to 4000 mm

    1. Maximum Weight of a Single Piece 5 tons

Bronze split bearings are designed in two halves, and in some cases three or four, so they can be installed or replaced without removing the entire shaft or disassembling the machine.

They are produced using 99.99% pure copper alloys that are carefully formulated to meet both industry standards and customer performance requirements. The bearing blanks are produced through centrifugal casting to keep the material structure uniform and consistent. Then, the sample pieces are kept for up to five years to make sure every batch can be traced and verified when needed. Each bearing is then precision-machined on five-axis CNC equipment to achieve accurate dimensions and a smooth finish. Every step of the process is carried out under ISO9001 and CCS quality standards, and once the final products are ready, they are tested in our CNAS-certified laboratory to confirm their reliability and consistency.

Materials

Bronze split bearings are customized to meet different project requirements, using high-quality alloys such as C93700, C94100, C94300, C83600, and C91700, each selected based on specific performance and operating conditions.

Material No. Category Core Properties Typical Applications
C93700 High-Lead Tin Bronze • Balanced mechanical strength
• Good fatigue resistance
Commonly used in gear sets, worm drives, valve cores, pump housings, and bearing sleeves
C94100 High-Strength Aluminum Iron Bronze • High strength and hardness (≥690 MPa, ≥190 HB)
• Excellent wear resistance
Suitable for heavy-duty components such as gear wheels, bearing plates, shafts, and impellers
C94300 Medium-Aluminum Iron Bronze • Good machinability
• Suitable for complex cast shapes
• Excellent weldability
Used in valve casings, pump bodies, and marine equipment exposed to corrosion
C83600 High-Lead Brass • Excellent cutting and machining performance Ideal for threaded parts like nuts, screws, and bearing pads
C91700 Low-Lead Tin Bronze • Good casting performance
• High wear and friction resistance
Used in plain bearings, oil-retaining bushings, sealing rings, and light-duty moving assemblies
Features

Bronze split bearings, particularly those made from high-strength bronze alloys, are widely used in heavy machinery and industrial equipment. Compared with standard bearings, they offer the following advantages:

  • Bronze split bearings are made in two halves, so it's easier to install or remove directly from the shaft or housing without having to take apart the entire machine where they are installed.
  • Since bronze alloys combine strength and durability, they can be further enhanced through precise heat treatment and machining. This process increases hardness to over 200 HV, giving the bearings excellent resistance to wear and deformation under heavy loads.
  • Bronze has excellent heat conductivity, which allows quick heat transfer and effective temperature control, to help bearings remain stable and prevent overheating during continuous, high-speed, or high-temperature operation, significantly extending their service life.
  • Bronze naturally absorbs vibration and impact without losing its form. Its slight flexibility helps parts move smoothly against each other, thus reducing friction and wear during long-term operations. Since it can slightly bend under heavy loads or high speeds, split bearings stay protected from early fatigue and damage.
  • Thanks to their high strength, easy maintenance, and good durability, bronze split bearings are widely used in heavy machinery that requires custom sizes, long service life, and reliable performance under demanding conditions.

Overall, bronze split bearings outperform conventional bearings in installation convenience, strength, wear resistance, heat conductivity, and fatigue reduction. Their self-lubricating properties and reliability which is suitable for applications that require customized dimensions, oversized designs, and long-term durability in heavy-duty machinery.
