Gold & Silver Gravity Concentration Plant
Gravity concentration is an ideal technique for gold ores with higher concentrations.
The ore is first crushed and screened, then it can be further processed. If the ore has a significant amount of loam sand present, extra equipment, such as a hydrocyclone or a sluice, is added to the circuit.
Various types of gravity separation equipment can be used to recover gold. Washboxes, centrifugal separators, shaking tables and chutes are all effective means to achieve this.
Gold concentrate obtained by gravity concentration can be processed in a number of ways to produce gold ingots, including pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy. The remaining tailings can then be transferred to a tailings pond or further treated, such as by flotation, cyanidation, and other methods to maximize the amount of gold recovered.
