High Viscosity Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC-HV)
As a high-molecular weight polyanionic cellulose polymer with high purity, Landoil PAC-HV will act as a highly effective filtration control additive in fresh, hard, and saline water, with regard to reducing filtration rate, increasing viscosity, and encapsulation of clays.
Applications
Landoil PAC-HV is a multifunctional additive. It performs as an excellent viscosifier that increases viscosity to promote better hole cleaning, and forms a protective colloid which inhibits the hydration of water sensitive formations and encourages borehole stability through filtration control. Landoil PAC-HV will enhance the lubricating properties of the fluid, and can be added to foam to improve cuttings transportation. A Bentonite-based fluid system can be enhanced by adding Landoil PAC-HV, which is also compatible with the majority of polymer lubricants. Addition rates can be changed to adapt to specific applications.
