5-Axis Waterjet Cutting
The 5-axis waterjet cutting machine features an A-axis (angle and perpendicular) and C-axis (rotation around the Z-axis) that opens it up to 3D cutting abilities. Equipped with a 5-axis cutting head, it can cut cones, drill holes in tubes, and produce rubbed and beveled edges.
Stable cutting speed and cutting efficiency
Users can preset the slope model in the system. The machine will calculate the cutting path in real time to help users adjust the workpiece thickness. It can continuously modify cutting head movements during cutting to ensure the hypotenuse angle is less than 1° during the vertical cut.
Support bevel cutting
The 5-axis waterjet cutting machine can also carry out bevel cutting. When cutting a workpiece with a slope, the control system will move the cutting head to an angle against the vertical plane and rotation around the Z axis to cut out the slope.
Support surface trimming
Using professional 3D cutting software, the 5-axis waterjet cutting machine can trim workpiece surfaces. The CNC control system will automatically adjust the angle from perpendicular in a reliable, convenient manner. When cutting internal cavities, the cutting head is close to the inner wall workpiece with no collision.
Precision transmission system
The transmission component is manufactured by HIWIN and KENNAMETAL to ensure the transmission accuracy and durability.
The cutting speed of the 5-axis waterjet cutting machines is 20m/min while the accuracy is 0.1mm and repeatability is no more than 0.025mm.
