Stainless steel reaction vessel for adherent cell culture
RITAI Fibra disk bioreactor, with a packed-bed basket impeller, is suitable for the cultivation of adherent cells such as animal cells. It adopts a modular design that can be customized according to your needs, providing functions such as online CIP (Cleaning-in-Place), SIP (Sterilization-in-Place), automatic lifting of tank covers, cold point monitoring of sterilization process, data storage, and remote monitoring.
During cultivation, this bioreactor retains cells within the carrier fibers, reducing the shear force generated by the impeller and the impact of foams from the gas distributor on the cells. This allows the cells to remain in a relatively static state, facilitating fast cell adhesion to the carrier fibers and reducing the likelihood of cell detachment. It also enables longer maintenance periods, significantly improving the yield and reducing the content of host cell DNA in the harvest solution.
