Drill Collar Slips Type DCS
Available with multiple slip segments and standard 1:3 taper, the drill collar slip type DCS can fit API standard bushings and insert bowls perfectly. This well servicing tool can be used to grip drill collars with outer diameter from 3" to 14" by increasing or reducing the slip segments or by changing the quantity of inserts. Presently, the product we can offer drill collar slips of type WT, DCS, A and C1. The parts and components of those types except the type WT can be interchanged with that of the world's famous brand.
The drill collar slip is most widely used in the international market. The tube gripping device of DCS series can be classified into three types, small-sized type (DCS-S), medium-sized type (DCS-R) and large-sized type (DCS-L). Since the circular button is provided with button strip, the contact strength between the circular button and the pipe is enhanced. Besides safety and reliability, the contact area is effectively controlled to reduce the abrasion of the drill collar.
