The BA series centrifugal pumps use a semi-open impeller. This design is more tolerant of suspended particles in the liquid and allows the pumps to handle more viscous fluids. They ensure paper pulp, cotton pulp, and chemical fibers are smoothly transferred with no clogging, thus reducing required maintenance. The centrifugal pumps are capable of transferring a liquid concentration of 2-5%, and with a special design, a maximum concentration of 8%.
