Polyester serger thread is combined with polyester filaments, and is used for overlock as it sews over the edge of one or two pieces of cloth to prevent cloth falling, much like stretch thread for serge sewing does.
We use a high speed polyester pre-oriented yarn made from PET in the manufacturing of PET to go through the stretch and draw process. This thread retains all the advantages of a polyester thread, including a high breaking strength, high elastic modulus, an excellent heat setting performance, excellent resilience and thermal insulation, easy to wash and quick dry performance, a comfortable texture, and a glossy appearance.
