Fixed Displacement Vane Pumps
Request a Quote
A fixed displacement vane pump is a positive-displacement pump widely used in industrial hydraulic systems. Its core characteristic is its fixed displacement, meaning the output flow is directly proportional to the drive speed and cannot be adjusted by the pump's structure itself. This pump achieves oil suction and discharge through the radial sliding motion of vanes within rotor slots, forming cyclically changing sealed chambers. It boasts advantages such as a compact structure, smooth operation, low noise, and long lifespan, making it an ideal power component for medium to low-pressure hydraulic systems.
Structural Composition
Fixed displacement vane pumps primarily consist of the following components:
- Pump body: Made of high-strength cast iron or aluminum alloy, providing structural support and oil passages.
- Rotor: A precisely machined cylindrical body with radial slots, within which the vanes slide.
- Vanes: Made from wear-resistant materials (such as phenolic resin or alloy steel), they rely on centrifugal force or pressurized oil to maintain close contact with the inner surface of the stator.
- Stator ring: Its inner surface has a specific curve (circular or eccentric profile) that guides the vane movement to form sealed chambers.
- Distribution plate: Controls the oil inlet and outlet paths, ensuring separation between the suction and pressure zones.
- Drive shaft: Connects to the power source (e.g., motor), transmitting torque to drive the rotor's rotation.
- Sealing components: Prevent oil leakage and ensure stable system pressure.
Features
- High efficiency & stability: Optimized vane design reduces internal leakage, with volumetric efficiency reaching 85%~92%.
- Low pulsation & low noise: A multi-vane structure (typically 8-12 vanes) balances pressure fluctuations, resulting in operational noise below 70dB(A).
- Wide adaptability: Can transport mineral oils, synthetic oils, and high water-based hydraulic fluids, with an operating temperature range of -20℃ to 80℃.
- Long lifespan design: Features wear-resistant coated vanes and precision bearings, with an average Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) exceeding 10,000 hours.
- Flexible installation: Offers various installation methods such as flange-mounted and bracket-mounted, supporting clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation.
Application
- Industrial machinery: Hydraulic systems for injection molding machines, die-casting machines, and machine tools.
- Construction vehicles: Steering and work implement hydraulic drives for excavators and forklifts.
- Metallurgical equipment: Lubrication and cooling systems for continuous casting machines and rolling mills.
- Marine & offshore: Hydraulic power units for deck machinery and steering gears.
- Agricultural machinery: Hydraulic lift systems for combine harvesters and tractors.
