Power Distribution Panels

GGD Series

The GGD AC Low Voltage Switchgear is suitable for substations, power plants, and industrial or mining enterprises that use AC 50Hz, rated working voltage 380V, and rated working current 1000–3150A. It is used in power distribution systems for the conversion, distribution, and control of electric energy for power, lighting, and distribution equipment.

The GGD switchgear was designed according to the requirements of the Ministry of Energy, major power users, and design departments, following principles of safety, economy, rationality, and reliability. It features high breaking capacity, excellent thermal and dynamic stability, flexible electrical configurations, convenient combination options, strong practicality, and a modern structure with a high protection grade. It can serve as an upgraded replacement for conventional low-voltage switchgear assemblies.

Features
  • The GGD AC Low Voltage Distribution Cabinet adopts a universal cabinet design. Its frame is partially welded and assembled using 8MF cold-bent steel profiles, with 20-module installation holes, ensuring a high level of standardization and compatibility.
  • The GGD cabinet is designed with optimized heat dissipation. Ventilation slots are positioned at both the top and bottom of the cabinet. When the internal electrical components generate heat, the warm air rises and exits through the upper vents, while cool air enters through the lower vents, forming a natural convection path to maintain effective cooling.
  • The cabinet’s external structure follows modern industrial design principles, using the golden ratio for dimensional division to achieve an elegant and refined appearance.
  • The top cover can be removed when needed to facilitate the installation and adjustment of the main busbar on site. Lifting rings are fitted at the four corners for easy hoisting and transportation.
  • The cabinet protection grade is IP30. Users may choose between IP20 and IP40 depending on environmental requirements.
Operating Conditions
  • Altitude not exceeding 2000 m.
  • Ambient air temperature not higher than 40 °C and not lower than –10 °C; average temperature within 24 h not exceeding 35 °C.
  • Atmospheric conditions: clean air with relative humidity not exceeding 50 % at 40 °C; higher humidity is allowed at lower temperatures (e.g., 90 % at 20 °C).
  • Installation sites must be free from fire, explosion hazards, severe contamination, chemical corrosion, or strong vibrations.
  • The installation inclination relative to the vertical plane must not exceed 5°.
  • Suitable transportation and storage temperature range: –25 °C to 55 °C, and short-term temperature (not exceeding 24 h) up to 65 °C.

If the above operating conditions cannot be met, customers should specify this when placing an order for further consultation.
