Made of special nylon, this parting lock features excellent corrosion resistance and heat resistance. Its tapered bolt can be tightened or loosened to adjust the friction between the base plate and resin sleeve.
The resin sleeve of this nylon parting lock is heat resistant and can work under the high temperature of 150℃. However, in the practical and continuous use, the resin sleeve is suggested to be used at the temperature of 80℃ or less, for its durability reduces due to the tightening stress generated by the tapered bolt.
Mounting Method
1. Embed the resin sleeve about 3mm in the movable side of the die plate;
2. Create a hole on the fixed side of the die plate and finish it to reduce the internal surface roughness;
3. In order to maintain the moldparting lock's durability, please make an R-chamfer instead of a C-chamfer on the inlet edge;
4. As to the hole's dimensional tolerance, please create a H7 reamer hole for PL10, and a H7 reamer hole 0.1 for PL13/16/20;
5. There is a PLBS bushing specially designed for being used with this parting lock can help to replace the R-chamfering and surface polishing processes;
6. This kind of mold opening controller's tapered bolt can be tightened or loosened to adjust the tension.
