Diesel locomotive cable has a conductor of stranded tinned copper wires per ASTM B33 with a separator tape over it, EPDM insulation and a CPE jacket.

DLO cable is to be used at a maximum of 600 or 2000 volts and 90℃ in dry or wet locations.

Applications:

Diesel locomotive cable can be used in 1/0 awg flexible, portable motor and power leads for diesel vehicles, railroad and transit cars, bulldozers, drilling rigs, storage batteries and other applications as described in the NEC.

Standards:

Our DLO cable meets UL 44 and UL 2806. It has passed the following tests: FT4 vertical-tray flame test, VW-1 flame test, aging test on insulation materials, dielectric voltage withstand test and other cable testing.
