Injection Adhesive Conical Anchor
Chemical Anchors
Conical stud with injection anchoring adhesive
Our conical chemical anchor system consists of a flat washer, nut, and specially designed conical stud, engineered for use with anchoring adhesive. This combination delivers optimal anchoring performance, and smaller sizes can also be used with glass capsule adhesives. The stud is made from chrome-alloyed steel for enhanced toughness and high tensile strength.
Unlike standard threaded rods, this chemical anchor utilizes a tapered cone shape to improve mechanical interlock. While chemical anchoring relies on the bonding action between adhesive, steel, and concrete, the conical geometry adds a mechanical keying effect similar to that found in mechanical anchors. This significantly improves load transfer efficiency and anchorage reliability, even under extreme stress. In failure scenarios, the anchor encourages a controlled concrete cone failure mode, enhancing structural safety.
