The conical rounder gently rolls divided dough pieces using and open trough profile to preserve the internal structure of the dough. While forming the dough into ball shapes, the process conditions the surface of the dough pieces to improve their appearance. A smoother outer skin is created by stretching the gluten. This decreases the stickiness of the dough and makes it easier to handle during shaping. The adjustable driven discharge cone keeps the dough pieces in a round shape that is easily controlled at a constant speed, reducing the risk of double dough pieces and aiding positioning.
The dough is punched down to release air and deflate it so that the dough can be allowed to rest while the fermentation process unfolds. Therefore, the equipment is designed with adjustable corrosion resistant rounding tracks. It is also equipped with a flour duster with an independent drive for perfectly rounded bread dough that will not stick.
The Youqiang conical rounder is ideal for dough with a water content of 45% to 70%. It provides simplicity for the large-scale production of different varieties of bread.
Our conical rounder can be used separately or together with other machines connected via conveyor belts.

- 1.Rounding Track The durable rounding track is constructed from aluminum alloy and this determines the quality of the rounding performance. It is lightweight and easy to clean without needing to take it apart. The rounding track and rotating cone can be set for different weight ranges to ensure the excellent rounding operation for the dough. The infeed direction determines the length of the rounding tracks. A rounding track up to 2.8 meters is suitable for dough weighing from 20 to 500g while the 4.5 meter track is for dough balls of optimal tightness with a weight range from 20 to 500g.
- 2.Rotating Cone A cast iron rotating cone provides high durability to prevent deformation. Its cover is treated with Teflon to prevent sticking and assure a smooth infeed of dough while also facilitating simple daily cleaning.
- 3.Flour Duster The flour duster with independent drive provides a light dusting of flour to help keep the dough from sticking to the equipment.
- 4.Using latest nano ceramic coating to provide excellent wear resistance and non-stick performance.
