Quick Freezing System

The contact freezer utilizes contact-based rapid freezing technology. This method relies on the significantly higher thermal conductivity of metal compared to air to transfer cold efficiently. Food items are placed horizontally or vertically on one side of a plate evaporator (metal freezing plate), allowing the metal to quickly conduct cold to the food, achieving rapid freezing.

Also known as a plate freezer, it is ideal for freezing tray-packed, block-shaped foods that are resistant to pressure or easy to mold, such as portioned meats, poultry, and by-products. It provides a reliable and efficient solution for preserving the quality of these products during freezing.

MPF Series Contact Freezer

This contact freezer is a double-sided, contact-based freezing system designed for batch operations. Food items are placed between multiple layers of freezing plates, which are hydraulically operated. During operation, the plates separate to allow for loading and unloading, and then compress to freeze the food efficiently. This design ensures uniform freezing while maximizing productivity for batch processing applications.

This contact freezer combines the MPF series plate freezer with its matching refrigeration compressor and condenser unit, all mounted on a shared base to create a fully integrated freezing system with a self-contained cooling source. Depending on the type of condenser, it is available in two configurations: air-cooled plate freezers and water-cooled plate freezers. This design ensures convenience and flexibility for various freezing applications and requirements.
