Asphalt/Bitumen Melter
The storage and management of bitumen has become a complicated issue, because numerous projects have scattered sites, making central storage a major complication. Bitumen melters produced by us here at Xuetao are primarily used to melt barreled bitumen, then the melted bitumen is transported to a storage tank or a high temperature tank for storage with the use of the thermal insulation pump, then sent directly to the site. This equipment is suitable for projects that use large quantities of barreled bitumen, such as municipal construction, expressway construction, asphalt mixing plant projects and more.
WorkflowThe circulating thermal oil is controlled and adjusted by a valve to ensure the temperature in the plant remains above 230 ℃. By lifting and inverting the open bitumen barrels onto the plant material table and pulling the hydraulic cylinder's operation handle, the bitumen can be delivered to two channels at a rate of about 1.5-2 minutes per barrel.
Components-
The front part: the operation table controls the hydraulic rod in order to push in the bitumen drums.
The rear part: A specialized piece of equipment pushes out empty drums after melting.

The internal part: Different diameter bitumen drums can be placed with an adjustable width.
These plants have output ranges from 2.5t/h to 7.5 t/h and can melt bitumen barrels at a speed of 12 barrels to 32 barrels per hour. For more information, please refer to the table below.
