Vacuum Metallizing System (Electric Resistance Heating)
To vaporize solid metal targets, there are many ways to do that. One way is by electric resistance heating, or more technically known as resistance evaporation. This vacuum metallizing system is specially designed to apply coatings of aluminum or aluminum compounds to the surface of your plastic products. The resultant aluminum coating feels smooth to the touch and looks great as well.
Vacuum Coater Operating Principle Explained
Plug in the vacuum metallizer and get the electric resistance heater going. The intense heat produced by the heater vaporizes the solid metal. The vaporized metal eventually settles down on the surface of the object to be coated. Various coating colors are available, including gold, silver, red, purple, blue, gray, and black, etc. Different surface finishes can be achieved as well, such as glossy finish, matte finish, wrinkle finish, satin finish, and more.
