How does a Diode laser treatment work?
A diode laser uses semiconductor technology that produces a coherent projection of light in the visible to infrared range. The laser emits a light (adjustable narrow spectrum) with a controllable wavelength through the skin; the light is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the hair follicles and inhibits or delays future hair growth with great efficacy.
What are diode lasers used for?
By adjusting the diode laser emission wavelength, the laser can penetrate the skin to different depths to conduct different treatments.
Applicable areas: facial hair, chest hair, armpit hair, back hair, arm hair, leg hair, and bikini lines.
