For this reason, we recommend using a nylon monofilament fishing line due to its greater tensile strength even with a small diameter.

You should choose the parameters of the material like diameter and mesh size according to your application needs. For example, a net with the proper mesh size might catch your desired large fish while letting smaller fish escape. Small mesh might capture smaller fish but also pull extra water along with it.
