233 Non Sparking Octagon Chisel
Our 233 non sparking octagon chisel comes with a chamfered edge pounding face that prevents broken metal pieces coming off the pounding surface. Its octagon shank allows ease of storage, as the shank will not roll around and be able to lie still during stacking. Compared to the hexagon shank, octagon version has heavier weight that enables the chisel to cut more deeply into the workpiece, thereby saving pounding effort.
The octagon chisel is made of non-sparking copper alloy which makes the tool suitable for use in combustible or explosive atmosphere. To attain high tensile strength and stable mechanical properties, the chisel is put through drop-forging process. Durable and long-lasting, this tool is most usually used to cut soft metal wire.
