RFID for Sports and Events Management
RFID labels could record identity information of people and is easy to read, which make it applicable for corporation access system, sport match, entertainment and medical management and the area demanding for people identification and track.
Sport match
In large sport match, due to the large amount of athletes, it’s hard to record grades of each athletes,such as marathon, there will be thousands of athletes,and some of them need to wait for more than 10 minutes to start running after launching starting instruction. Besides their actual route is hard to examine. Therefore the manual grades will be inaccurate and unfair, and it will cost lots of money to employ lots of referee.
Attach the RFID labels to each athlete clothes or wrist strap will solve above problems. each athlete will get a number cloth with a EPC Gen2 passive UHF tag attached, the RFID reader could be placed at starting line and terminal line, when the athlete pass the RFID reader, it will read the UID number in the UHF RFID tag to record the grades and running route of each athlete, which could save cost for organizing sporting match.
Admission ticket for sports match
Give an admission ticket with RFID labels to every people who will come to this sport match, when they pass the reader placed at the entrance, the ticket checking and signing up are accomplished automatically, which could save much time for checking ticket, save cost for organizing activity and reduce mistakes.
