Twin-shaft Mixer
Twin-shaft mixers are used in hazardous waste SMP systems to blend shredded material into a more uniform mix. With stable, continuous discharge, the material stays consistent for pumping and for downstream incineration.
| Model | | | |
| Capacity (m³/h) | 5 | 10 | 20 |
| Blade/paddle Diameter (mm) | 700 | 1200 | 1600 |
| Main Shaft Speed (rpm) | 0--30 | 0-25 | 0-20 |
| Motor Power (kW) | 37-55 | 75-90 | 90-110 |
| Center Distance (mm) | 500 | 800 | 1200 |
The shafts are made from high-strength alloy materials because the mixer works under heavy load and runs continuously. The distance between the two shafts is also set carefully, so the material gets the right “push and pull” during mixing instead of just spinning in place.
Depending on the model, the mixer can use one motor or two motors. Power transfers through the gearbox and belt/pulley system to drive both shafts. This setup helps control how fast each shaft turns and keeps the rotation directions consistent, which supports steady mixing performance.
