Features
- Thanks to its low carbon content 254SMO alloy minimizes the danger of carbide precipitation
- This alloy can pass the STRAUSS TEST even after undergoing 1 hour of sensitization within a temperature range of 600℃-1000℃. It avoids intergranular corrosion during welding processes.
- 254SMO demonstrates strong corrosion resistance in pure sulfuric acid
- Under slightly higher temperatures 254SMO can maintain high crevice corrosion resistance properties
- Mechanical strength higher than other austenitic stainless steels
