Debarker (with Horizontal Spindle)
This debarker with horizontal spindle, used for removing the bark from a tree or skin a wood log, plays an important role in the first step of producing wood veneer.
Log debarking is a key step in woodworking, and yet can be disastrous without the right equipment. If the bark and branches are not evenly removed, then the whole batch is only good for fuel or paper making. If you are regularly processing wood, you need a high quality debarker, like one of JINLUN's large gear log debarkers. Our debarking equipment uses a mechanical feed which is more powerful and accurate than that of hydraulic debarkers, and can process logs with a diameter of 74-420mm using a range of 9 to 16.5 Kw of power. We design our debarkers with similar configurations to that of our veneer lathes with travel, forward, and reverse switches.
