High Temperature End-Face Friction and Wear Testing Machine
Multi-function tribometer for the measurement of friction and wear properties of various materials
Applications
Ideal for evaluating the friction and wear properties of materials such as lubricants, metals, plastics, coatings, rubber, and ceramics under varying conditions. This multi-function tribometer is highly valued in industries where materials are exposed to extreme temperatures and conditions, such as aerospace, energy, and metallurgy.
This multi-function tribometer supports various friction configurations, including end-face, pin-on-disc, and ball-on-disc sliding friction tests. It is highly adaptable, allowing for additional friction setups to be configured based on spindle and lower support interfaces. This tester is capable of operating under a range of conditions, from room temperature to ultra-high temperatures, with the ability to customize lubrication states (such as oil-free or oil-immersed lubrication), load, speed, material pairings, surface roughness, and hardness. With a maximum temperature of up to 1200°C and a normal operating range around 1100°C, it is ideal for studying friction pair material selection and wear resistance in extreme environments.
