Digital flexographic printing plate
Digital flexo printing plate is made by placing plate material directly on a computer-to-plate (CTP) machine, where image data is transferred to a laser that emits a beam to corrode the black film. The result is a desired image formed on the printing plate surface.
Digital flexographic printing offers low production costs and flexible process combinations. MERIT provides flexographic plates in varying thicknesses, including 3.94mm, 2.84mm, 2.28mm, 1.7mm, and 1.14mm, for pre-printing in flexible packaging, high-end color boxes, corrugated boxes, label stickers, handbags, beverage containers, books, and magazines.
Our digital flexographic printing plates offer excellent flexibility, good ink transferability, soft highlights and shadow gradients, ensuring vivid color reproduction and a wide color gamut. - Store the flexo plates in a location that is not exposed to sunlight or UV light.
- Control the temperature between 5℃-35℃.
- After finishing printing, clean ink on the surface of the flexo plate as quickly as possible and allow the plate to completely dry.
- Avoid stacking flexo plates on top of each other; instead, separate them using paper or buffering material.
- Maintain good ventilation conditions in the storage room to prevent moisture accumulation.
- Use cleaning agents that will not cause photopolymer expansion.
