Tubular Belt Conveyor/Tube Conveyor
Tubular belt conveyor is an enclosed belt conveyor that features a closed-trough belt to protect materials conveyed against sun, rain, wind and other environmental factors, while protecting the environment and people from hazardous and dusty bulk goods since these materials cannot escape from the closed belt system. Zoomry designs, manufactures and supplies tubular belt conveyors to suit customer's specific needs of bulk material handling.
The conveyor belt forms a closed pipe to enable the bulk materials to be moved in an enclosed belt conveyor throughout the entire conveying distance, thus leading to less environmental impact and preventing dust emissions. There virtually is no limit to the applications of this bulk material handling conveyor, almost any type of bulk particulate or powdered materials can be transported. The tubular belt conveyor has significant advantages over conventional belt conveyors in terms of reducing transfer points and thus delivering excellent cost efficiency.
- Having the benefits of high degree of energy efficiency, safety and reliability;
- More safe and environmentally friendly when compared to conventional belt conveyors, either the top belt or bottom belt is folded around the handled materials, so that spreading of dust contained materials can be efficiently avoided, and valuable products are also safeguarded from theft;
- The unique design of inclination and horizontal curves of smaller radius allows the materials to be flexibly transported along the vertically or horizontally curved conveyor path, that means a single tubular belt conveyor can take the role of multiple conventional belt conveyors. Therefore, the total conveyor length and plant footprint can be drastically decreased for more cost savings, while satisfying the needs of companies and plants with confined spaces;
Tubular belt conveyor is commonly used to transport a variety of bulk materials with density range of 0-2.5t/m3 over varied terrains. It can be built with basic rubber belts that can withstand ambient temperature ranging from -25 to 40℃, or customer-specific conveyor belts to adapt to high temperature as high as 160℃. As people become more aware of environmental concerns, tubular belt conveyors are becoming a popular choice among companies and manufacturers in the power, construction, chemical, mining, port, food, and other industries where bulk material handling is necessary.
Typical materials: ores, coke, limestone, coal, shale, crushed stone, etc.
Difficult-to-handle materials: steel concentrate, petroleum coke, concrete, clay, sludge, humidified fly ash, coal tailings, alumina, filter dust, etc.
