Weld Neck Flange
Weld neck flange features high deformation resistance, great sealing performance, wide application range, good rigidity, resilience and reasonable thinning transition for butt welding. Distant from the welding seam, the adjoining face won’t deform due to high welding temperature. Hence, the flange is suitable for pipelines with large change of pressure and temperature or tubes with high temperature, high pressure or low temperature. Generally, the product is used for connection between pipes with valves where the working pressure is larger than 2.5Mpa. It is also applied on pipelines for transportation of expensive, inflammable and explosive matter. Produced by unique production process, our flange has long neck, which leads to high price. However, it can be used in high-pressure situations. During butt welding, the tensile stress that the neck or the concentrator imposes on the hub plays an important role of strengthening the flange. The flange hole can perfectly match with corresponding pipe hole, thus alleviating turbulence and erosion.
