Y16 Series Circular Connectors
Built strictly to Chinese military standards, the Y16 series circular connector is made of aluminum alloy. It uses a center-locking screw to achieve mechanical and electrical connection. This series of connector comes in one of 7 types, depending on the rated current it can withstand which ranges from 5A to 7A. Benefits of this electrical connector include light weight, compact design, ease of use, and reliable mating.
The receptacle half of the connector pair is tightly sealed against ingress of rainwater, dust and smog via a method known as glass sealing. The scoop proof mechanism prevents the connector pins from being bent. In the Middle East, military experts often use this connector for reliable connection in artilleries.
