The auto-disable syringe with a metal clip is designed for clinical use, including medication injections and blood draws, as well as fixed-dose vaccine injections of less than 1ml. This syringe type ensures a high level of safety by preventing reuse, thereby reducing the risk of cross-contamination and infections.
These syringes come in two versions: with and without a fixed needle. Both versions feature a concentric tip and are made up of three main parts, with an additional auto-disable component.
- Fixed needle: Includes an outer sleeve, plunger, piston, needle cover, needle barrel, metal clip, and needle hub.
- Non-fixed needle: Comprises an outer sleeve, plunger, piston, and auto-disable component, and is used with disposable sterile needles.
- No additional steps or changes in user operation are required, making it simple for healthcare professionals to adopt
- The syringe auto-disables immediately after injection, with no noticeable resistance during the process, ensuring ease of use without the need for extra force
- Allows for air to be expelled during liquid draw, ensuring accurate dosage and preventing air bubbles
- The fixed needle design eliminates dead space, resulting in minimal medication residue compared to standard syringes
- Both the needle and syringe cannot be reused after a single use, enhancing safety by preventing reuse
Our auto-disable syringes are available in three packaging levels to ensure optimal protection and convenience:
- Individual packaging: Each syringe is sterile packed in blister packs or high-pressure PE bags to maintain sterility and protection.
- Intermediate packaging: Individually packed syringes are grouped into medium-sized boxes made from grey base whiteboard paper or fine corrugated materials, providing additional protection.
- Bulk packaging: The medium boxes are then placed into large, durable corrugated cardboard cartons for safe transport and storage, ensuring the products arrive in perfect condition.
Auto-disable syringes come in various types, including:
- Locking mechanism: Prevents the plunger from being pulled back after use
- Piston-breaking: Breaks the plunger upon completion of the injection
- Ratchet locking: Utilizes a ratchet system to lock the plunger in place after use
Disposable syringes are essential in modern medical practices because they effectively prevent cross-contamination and the spread of infectious diseases. By being disposable, these syringes ensure that each patient receives a sterile instrument, significantly reducing the risk of transmitting blood-borne pathogens such as HIV and hepatitis. Their design and sterility standards make them a safer option for both patients and healthcare providers, promoting better health outcomes and maintaining high hygiene standards in medical settings.
