Compact vibration testing systems have been developed as specialized, space-efficient solutions designed for engineers, researchers, and educators who need consistent vibration assessment in limited spaces. They are frequently used in research laboratories, ultra-quiet workshops, field maintenance scenarios, and educational institutions to evaluate the durability and mechanical behavior of small components.
These vibration shakers are widely used in vibration resistance testing, fatigue analysis, and mechanical impedance measurements for miniature parts and assemblies. Depending on the internal excitation mechanism, compact shakers are available in two configurations: the permanent magnet type, which maintains a stable magnetic field using built-in magnets, and the field coil type, which generates the magnetic field by supplying current to the excitation coil. This distinction allows users to choose the most suitable setup for their applications while ensuring accurate, repeatable testing aligned with real-world performance demands.

The vibration controller first generates a low-power drive signal, which is balanced and refined through iterative processing. This signal is then sent to the power amplifier, where it is boosted and delivered to the shaker’s drive coil. The amplified signal drives the moving coil, producing the desired vibration motion. An accelerometer continuously monitors the vibration response and sends feedback to the controller, which makes real-time adjustments to keep the output stable and accurate. The process forms a closed-loop control system, ensuring precise vibration performance throughout the test.
