The mechanical bar screen machine is a device specially designed for wastewater treatment to obstruct and separate residue of various characteristics in wastewater. The equipment is commonly used in urban sewage treatment, tap water treatment, and in power plant water intake systems. It can also act as a prescreen device for wastewater treatment in textile, food processing, paper production, and leather processing operations.
The mechanical bar screen machine includes the machine rack, rake teeth group, transmission organ, torque guard equipment, residue separating organ, floor bolt, underwater chain wheel group and grids.
Since the drive of the chains group, the many rake teeth of the machine complete the rotational motion, and the teeth harrows complete the decontamination and residue separation. The mechanical bar screen machine can separate the solid waste such as plants, fibers and rubber and plastic, and the decontamination rate more than 95%.
The control system of the machine is fully-automatic and can started and stopped on a timer. The control system can be equipped according to customer needs. The mechanical bar screen machine will stop automatically and alarm immediately when an error occurs, thus enabling operation without immediate supervision.
