Application
2024 aluminum alloy can be suitable for hot welding technology such as resistance welding, but brazing is not suggested. In an annealing state, it shows good machinability. Due to these characteristics, 2024 aluminum alloy is widely used in vehicle and airplane structures, and common parts include: aircraft accessories, vehicle gears, automobile bolts, clock parts, computer parts and hydraulic valves.
