7050 aluminum alloy contains zinc as main alloy element. Its strength is slightly lower but its corrosion resistance is higher than 7075 aluminum alloy. It has great wear resistance and stress-corrosion cracking resistance but relatively poor weldability.
Application
7050 aluminum alloy is widely used to manufacture fuselage frames, bulkheads and various aircraft parts.
