Overview of Rust Preventive Oil
Thixotropy refers to a unique characteristic of liquid that thins out as it is shaken, stirred, or brushed out. This lubricant type thixotropic anti-rust liquid uses refined mineral oil as base material, which is then mixed with a variety of rust-proofing agents, solutizers, and antioxidants to form a powerful, stable rust-proofing solution. The rust preventive oil exhibits exceptional corrosion-resistant performance, and is easy, safe to use. The USA and Japanese equivalents of CVCI thixotropy anti-rust oil are P-7 and N-7 separately.
CVCI is a Chinese VCI liquid manufacturer. Over the years, technical experts at CVCI have been pushing the envelope on Chinese rust preventative oil technology by pioneering the use of thixotropic liquid. Simply put the oil on a brush, and spread it out over a vertical or inclined surface. In a short period of time, the rust preventive oil would form a firm film without causing too much of it to drain away from the surface, which is a significant material saving. Method of Use
Please ensure the rust preventive oil is clean, dry prior to applying the oil by dip, spray, or brush.
Do not dilute the oil or pair it with other rust proofing oil.
Packaging, Storage
Packaging: 200L/pail, 18L/pail
Storage: Keep the rust preventive oil indoors, tightly sealed, and away from water, impurities and sources of fire. Like any other thixotropic liquid products, CVCI thixotropy anti rust oil would produce trace amounts of sediment at the bottom after a long-term storage. So shake the oil before use.
