Growing Process
I. Raw Materials Stirring
The raw material consisting of several balanced organic materials provides a nutritional growth medium for mushrooms.
II. Fermentation of Raw Materials (Substrate)
III. Put the substrate on growing bed
IV. Spawning
Mushroom spawn, purchased from commercial labs, is added to the substrate.
V. Bedding
The mushroom spawn thoroughly mixed with the substrate is transferred to hundreds of beds or trays.
VI. Casing and Pinning
The peat moss made casing is spread over the mushroom bed and serves as a water reservoir to supply the moisture. During the pinning stage, mushrooms spring up through the casing layer.
VII. Harvesting
Mushrooms are hand harvested after a cycle of 16-35 days.
