NSQ submersible centrifugal pumps feature a unique double-impeller structure, including a stirring impeller installed on the base, secondary to the main impeller. The stirring impeller will drive the precipitated sludge into a turbulent flow and then pump the fluid. It features a strong discharge capacity and it will not become easily blocked. As long as the working current remains within the rated current, the allowable solid particle content within the medium can reach 30 to 60%.
During operation, the driver and pump submerge into the water, with a maximum working depth ranging between 20-25m.
ApplicationNSQ series pumps are used in a variety of industries for heavy media processing, including marine dredging, mineral processing, wet sand suction, waste sludge suction, sand reclamation, barge loading and more. It is an ideal replacement for a traditional mud pump.
- Motor drive
If using a motor drive, an oil tank seal protection will be used, with a mechanical seal installed inside in order to prevent high pressure water and impurities from entering the motor cavity. - Hydraulic drive
The hydraulic drive features a worry free performance about water entering the motor, because it adapts to higher water pressures and a higher suction height, thus preventing water from entering the motor cavity. The hydraulic drive is also an ideal solution if the pump cannot be easily connected to an external power supply.
- The stirring impeller on the top of the pump will come into direct contact with the depositional surface. It is capable of controlling the sand concentration in the conveyed media through a diving depth.
- Due to the underwater operation of the pump and drive, the suction head is not limited, and features a highly efficient sand absorption and thorough dredging.
- Impeller, stirring impeller and other main wet ends are manufactured with a highly wear resistant and corrosion resistant material.
- Operation is simple, and the pump requires no auxiliary vacuum pump or stirring device.
- The driver submerges into water, and requires no grounding for fixing devices, which saves installation costs.

- The normal power supply is 50Hz/380V three-phase AC power supply. In addition, 400V, 440V, 660V, 1140V and other power supply can be customized.
- The maximum temperature of the medias should not exceed 60℃. If not so, the pump should be coated with cooling sets and cooled by external water.
- The maximum allowable concentration of the solid particles in the mediums is 45% for ash and 60% for slag.
- The diving depth of the pump unit should be no more than 20m and no less than 1m.
