Die sets 1, 2 and 3 form the smallest curls in when the interior diameter is at least 3 times the material thickness. Die set 2 is used when an off center curl and two hits are required.
Set 3 is used to form an on center curl in three hits. When forming heavier gauge materials, tool steel inserts can be added to increase the strength.
Die sets is designed to form an off center curl in three hits, and die set 5 forms an on center curl in four hits. Both sets accommodate material up to 16 GA and curls of inside meter between 1/4’’ and 3/4”.
