Stepseal ST-I is made up of a low-friction, stick-slip free PTFE seal and a rubber o-ring. The o-ring energizes the entire seal providing enough pre-tensioning force and compensating for seal wear. PTFE material delivers a low coefficient of friction in both static and dynamic sealing applications.
ST-I Stepseal is suitable for sealing reciprocating pistons and rods as well as for high pressure, slow-moving or fast-moving applications. Unique PTFE stepped seal design prevents leakage.

Operating pressure: 0~40MPa
Operating temperature: -55~ 250°C (depending on the O-ring material)
Reciprocating speed: <5m/s
Operating media: hydraulic oil, gas, water, emulsified fluid
