Power Station Globe Valve
Power station globe valve is applied in regulating flow in a pipeline, with the medium to be water, oil, high-temperature steam, and other non-corrosive gas. It is widely seen in power plant, chemical plant, oil plant, etc.
In KIST, we have 2 standard types of power station valve available: NSI B16.34 and JIS E101, and JB3595 (GB standards). The pressure and temperature requirements for them are the same. To ensure the sealing performance of the valve under high-temperature high-pressure condition, we have employed self-tightening structure for the control valve. The seal ring is made from low-carbon steel or flexible graphite 316. The sealing layer is welded with cobalt-based hard alloy, whose pure metal layer is thicker than 3mm. Ends of the valve is welded, with the bevel designed according to clients' requirements. Our globe valve is known for high wear-resistance, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and long service life.
Salient Features
1. Middle part of the valve adopts self-tightening structure
2. Piston or parabolic type hard surface (HF) valve disc is set
3. Creep design for high-temperature resistance
4. Valve stem is made from precipitation hardening stainless steel
5. The valve is operated manually, electrically, or by gear
