Breakaway coupler is installed on outboard arm of truck loading arm to efficient protect pipeline from being damaged in an emergency. When a drive-off occurs in the event of an emergency, breakaway coupling activates and the valves will be closed to immediately eliminate flow on both directions, thus ensuring the leakage of liquid and gas from pipeline.
