Material Selection
Both the door frame and the door leaf are made from premium quality galvanized or stainless steel. The filling materials are generally vermiculite boards, which are able to withstand temperatures up to 1200ºC. Electrostatic coatings are also added for more fire resistance. Other attachments include the stainless steel deadbolt, door closer, and the galvanized or stainless steel hinge.

Main Technical Specifications
Fire resistence: Class I is A1.50h, class II, A1.0h, and class III, A0.5h.
Sound insulation: Class III is RW>23dB.
Surface treatment: The electrostatic coating looks nice and lasts even longer. Different colors are available to choose from.

Simto's fire rated doors are designed to stay closed, and open outward in the direction of an egress in the event of a fire. Hinges are located on the right side of the door when viewed from outside, which means the door normally swings out of the room on the right side.
