Used motor oil poses a serious threat to the environment because it contains heavy metals that are toxic to animals and human body. Instead of pouring motor oil on the ground, in the sewer or down the drain, manufacturers now can use a vacuum distillation unit to recover and recycle as much of it as possible.

Vacuum Distiller in Operation
With Yilong vacuum distiller, a variety of used oil can be recycled including tire-derived oil, lubricating oil and motor oil of course. We design vacuum distillation systems from 5 ton to 100 ton capacity. The system operates on electricity at a power range between 30kw and 50kw. The amount of floor area it takes is dictated by its configuration. A 10 ton distillation unit, for example, spreads over a 400-square-meter footprint. A high level of automation means the system can run continuously requiring only one man to operate.

Used motor oil can be distilled into a mixture of 70% diesel, 15% petrol, 10% heavy and 5% flue gas.
Note that this system is applicable for all sorts of liquid oil, with the only difference being the percentage yield. Please inform us of the oil type you intend to distill, or send the oil sample to us based on which we can calculate the percentage yield.

Service
1. Warranty
Each vacuum distillation unit carries a 2-year warranty, meaning that the system can be repaired free of charge (wear parts excluded). We'll replace the equipment that can't be repaired if the problem is caused by manufacturing fault.
2. Installation
We send our technicians to your site for field installation, commissioning and operator training.
3. Catalyst Formula
Catalyst needs to be added to the distilled oil so that the resultant oil product can come close to or meet international oil standards. The formula for making this catalyst will be sent to you along with the equipment. Based on that formula, customers can buy the ingredients in their local market.
