Focusing lenses are extensively used in CO2 laser processing applications, such as laser cutting, engraving, marking and drilling systems.
Our focus lens is fabricated using USA imported CVD zinc selenide (ZnSe) that has very low absorption coefficient, enabling the produced laser focus lens to withstand high power density. High quality thin-film is firmly coated, providing great resistance to wiping. Our ZnSe focus lens is offered with anti-reflection coating (AR coating) on both sides, resulting in very high transmission at a common wavelength of 10.6μm in the CO2 laser industry.
Through the improvements on two aspects of diffraction and aberration, the focusing lens can realize smaller spot size under the same focusing conditions.
