YSJZ shaft drilling jumbo is a type of rock drilling machinery specially designed for vertical shaft construction in iron ore and non-ferrous metal mines. The shaft jumbo is a great alternative to be used in mining and underground construction projects where other drilling methods couldn't be adopted due to their technical or economic limits. The operations of this hydraulic drilling equipment are driven by two 90kW motors, including rotation, drilling, feed.
Huatai offers 3 types of hydraulic shaft jumbos, which can accommodate all types of vertical shaft construction. In addition, the vertical shaft drill can be designed in accordance with shaft specifications on each project.
- Low consumption: The shaft drilling jumbo is designed with electro-hydraulic system. The power consumption of the hydraulic system is only 1/3 that of the pneumatic system.
- High drilling speed: The longhole drilling speed of hydraulic shaft jumbos is more than twice as fast as pneumatic rock drilling equipment when working on the same type of rock, with same hole diameter. The drilling speed can reach 0.8-1.5 m/min.
- Reduced cost for drilling tools: Optimized drilling parameters can be made according to the rock type. A dual damper mechanism ensures increased impact energy transfer efficiency. This results in high drilling performance. Therefore, the cost reduction of drilling tools such as bits and rods can reach 15-20%.
- Cost effectiveness: Since the hydraulic pressure is approx. 10 times higher than the pneumatic pressure, under the same impact power the piston of the hydraulic drilling jumbo features a small force area. The area of impact piston is nearly the same with the shank area. The hydraulic shaft drill features low stress transfer loss, long service life, and low failure rate, resulting in cost reduction by 30%.
- Improved working environment: No exhaust gases are produced during hydraulic powered rock drilling, causing no pollution to the working environment. Requiring no exhaust, the noise level can be reduced by 5-10 decibels comparing with pneumatic powered rock drilling.
- Improved construction quality: High accuracy of drilling depth and spacing can be provided by the hydraulic drilling equipment, contributing to improving the shaft construction quality.
