The DJ type surface bumper jar is an effective tool for releasing stuck drill tools within the downhole. The bumper jar is connected to the surface section of the drill string and the device adjusts the tonnage using a rotary disc face. The violent down jarring is clearly visible when the surface jar is in operation. The jarring strength of the tool is easily adjusted and it can operate continuously to prevent any downtime during drilling.
The surface jar is designed to bear heavy loads and also features excellent sealing properties to withstand drilling fluid circulation under high pressure. The device has proven to be safe and reliable and suitable for many years of operation.
